There is no 'separate AFC caregiver regulation'. The AFC Caregiver Qualifications and Responsibilities can be found in section: 408.433 of the regulation. Please note there was no change to the Level I payment rate to AFC providers. Regarding 'legal status as an AFC caregiver', it is recommended to speak to the AFC facility you are affiliated with for this information. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. MassHealth Customer Service The AFC regulations at 130 CMR 408.000 went into effect on 2/1/2007. There is no 'separate AFC caregiver regulation'. The AFC Caregiver Qualifications and Responsibilities can be found in section: 408.433 of the regulation.

Please note there was no change to the Level I payment rate to AFC providers.
