|Much effort has been taken to protect the privacy of forum members.
Unregistered users: are only able to read posts in the public forums. They can not post to any forum. They can not see the username of the newest registered member or the usernames of members that are online. They will not see any ICQ numbers, AIM addresses, MSN or Yahoo messenger information, website addresses, or Signatures. They can not read the Memberlist or see any Profiles. As the ability to send Private Messages requires that a member has made 10 posts, and unregistered users can not make posts, neither can they send Private Messages.
Note* Search engines access this forum as unregistered users.
Registered Members: can start new topics and post to all Public forums. Registered members can view some of the members in the Memberlist page, and can see some of the other members' Profiles. They can see email addresses if they are not "hidden". They can see other forum members' signatures and can attach files to their posts. Registered members can send Private Messages to other forum members after they have made 10 posts.
Registered members of Private Groups: in addition to having the forum privileges of a Registered member, members in Private Groups can read and post to their group's Private forum, they can see other members of their group in the Memberlist, and view the other group members' profiles. They can also see a list of group members in the Usergroups page.
If you are a member of a Private group and want registered members that are not in your group to be able to see your Profile and your information in the Memberlist, you must register again with a second username and a second email address. This second username will be at the Registered Member Privacy level.
Please read the "Registration / Profile Information" sticky for more information.
